GMI Services is a community based concept designed by Ghanaians all over the world, to share our views on the current state of the country. We simply write and post articles relating to Ghana on the site. We started this concept in 2005 as source of sharing our views on various issues in Ghana.
Our aim is to encourage ordinary Ghanaians to voice their opinions on the topics listed below. We strongly believe that, if something is WRONG and you do not talk about it, you can never make it RIGHT.
We do encourage people to write about the topics below, also, we’ll be glad to publish any constructive articles on other topics which are not listed below. We are also here to promote already acclaimed Ghanaian small businesses and events worldwide by giving them various incentives and publicity.
- Modernized agriculture based on rural development
- Promoting the development of agro-processing
- Increase environmental protection through re-forestation
- Rehabilitating to major highways including Accra-Yamoransa, Accra-Kumasi, Accra-Aflao.
- Rehabilitate or construct one good road linking rural with urban units in all regions.
- Re-gravelling and upgrading feeder roads.
- Improve overall energy supply to boost industrial production and targeted supply to the poor.
- $50 a yr tax from every person over 18yr old Ghanaian living outside Ghana more than a year.
- Reducing and restructuring the domestic debt.
- Creating a cabinet post for Ghanaian Migrants population.
- Developing the national ID system.
- Providing one model Senior Secondary School (SSS) in every district.
- Expand pre-school access to all basic schools.
- Increase girls’ enrolment.
- Providing model health centre in every district of the country.
- Phasing out cash and carry system.
- Increase access to drinking water in rural areas.
- Promote women’s access to credit.
- Increase resources for the protection of the rights of women.
- Improve the quality of life of the physically handicapped.
- Equip and train the Police.
- Strengthen the campaign against corruption
- Strengthen the capacity of the Attorney General’s office.
- Strengthen the capacity of the District Assemblies.
- Increase awareness and provide support for people living with HIV/AIDS.
